Q: なぜ、地蔵は「どこに三界なんていうものがあるのか」と脩山主に問い返したのですか？

A: なぜならば、三界（迷いの世界）から脱出して「どこか別の特別な世界」へ行こうとする、脩山主の二元論的な思い込みを打ち破るためです。

脩山主は「ただ日常生活を送るだけでは解脱（三界を抜けること）ができない」と納得がいっていませんでした。しかし地蔵は、三界を超越しようがしまいが、結局私たちはこの同じ目の前の世界で働き、飯を食うのだという真実の世界（色即是空・空即是色）を気づかせようとしました。
